Marktspannen und Erzeugeranteil an den Ausgaben für Nahrungsmittel

Abstract

Der Anteil der Landwirtschaft an den Ernährungsausgaben nimmt kontinuierlich ab. Waren im Jahr 1955 noch 55% der Ausgaben für Lebensmittel an die Bauern geflossen, so schrumpfte dieser Anteil bis zum Jahr 2001 auf 22%. Zu den Gründen dieser Verlagerung zählt nicht nur der Abbau der Marktpreisstützung als Instrument der Agrarpolitik. Auch die Änderung der Konsumgewohnheiten, etwa zunehmender Verzehr von Fertiggerichten, und eine unvollständige Preistransmission in Verarbeitung und Handel erklären diese Entwicklung.
