Einkommensdynamik bei Selbständigen als Freie Berufe und abhängig Beschäftigte Eine dynamische Paneldatenschätzung mit Daten des Sozio-oekonomischen Panels

Abstract

Die Einkommen von Selbstständigen als Unternehmern und Freien Berufen unterliegen im Zeitverlauf besonderen Schwankungen. Das Ziel der vorliegenden Studie ist es, die individuelle Dynamik der Einkommen von Erwerbstätigen in Deutschland mit einem dynamischen Paneldatenschätzer zu untersuchen. Das besondere Interesse liegt dabei auf den Freien Berufen und Unternehmern und wie sich diese hinsichtlich der Einkommensdynamik von abhängig Beschäftigten unterscheiden. Um die Dynamik zu modellieren, wurde eine verzögerte endogene Variable in eine klassische Mincer-Gleichung aufgenommen. Das daraus resultierende Problem der Endogenität wird durch einen dynamischen Paneldatenschätzer nach Blundell und Bond gelöst. Mit Hilfe dieser Methode wird anhand von Daten des Sozio-oekonomischen Panels des Deutschen Instituts für Wirtschaftsforschung (DIW) aus den Jahren von 2000 bis 2012 der Koeffizient der Anpassungsgeschwindigkeit der Einkommen im Zeitverlauf bestimmt. Der Koeffizient für die Anpassungsgeschwindigkeit ist sowohl bei Selbstständigen als auch bei abhängig Beschäftigten signifikant von Null verschieden, d.h. die verzögerte endogene Variable übt einen signifikanten Einfluss aus. Insgesamt fällt auf, dass Unternehmer und Freie Berufe sehr ähnliche Ergebnisse aufweisen und eine fast doppelt so hohe Anpassungsgeschwindigkeit wie abhängig Beschäftigte haben.
