Crisis y diversificación de los grupos empresariales colombianos a finales de los noventa

Abstract

Se estudia la relación entre la crisis de 1997 y la diversificación de los 5 principales grupos económicos colombianos. Se encuentra que la diversificación medida por la entropía no disminuyó durante la crisis, lo cual concuerda lo que hipótesis de que se comparte el riesgo al interior del grupo. La diversificación disminuyó con posterioridad a la crisis pero ello no sugiere que este tipo de grupos pierda importancia en Colombia.
