Wiens Stadtwirtschaft. Internationale Spezialisierungschancen, zentrale Wirtschaftsbereiche

Abstract

In der vorliegenden Arbeit steht die Frage im Vordergrund, welche strukturellen Besonderheiten die Wiener Wirtschaft im Vergleich zu anderen Großstadtregionen kennzeichnen und welche (thematische) Profilierung vor dem Hintergrund der erreichten Spezialisierung möglich bzw. sinnvoll erscheint. Zudem wird der Frage nachgegangen, welchen Wirtschaftsbereichen in Wien für die Sicherung einer regional günstigen Einkommensposition besondere Bedeutung zukommt, sodass sie in stadtentwicklungspolitischen Konzepten und Entscheidungen besondere Aufmerksamkeit verdienen. Die Ergebnisse dienen als empirisch gestützter Input für den laufenden Prozess der Erstellung des neuen Wiener Stadtentwicklungsplanes STEP 2025.
