Estabilidad financiera: conceptos básicos

Abstract

La reciente crisis financiera internacional ha incrementado el interés de académicos y hacedores de política en temas de estabilidad financiera. Este artículo sistematiza conceptos básicos relativos a este tema. En particular, se analizan su definición, las formas de identificar problemas de estabilidad financiera, las posibles acciones a seguir al identificar una vulnerabilidad, y la importancia de la organización institucional para la eficiencia de un sistema de estabilidad financiera.
