Social protection floors and gender equality : a brief overview

Abstract

The working paper explores some of the issues related to the relation between social protection and gender equality. It is a first step within a larger on-going research process at the Social Protection Department of the ILO around the implementation of social protection floors as a fundamental element of national social security systems.
