RePEc-registered Economists in United States on Twitter

This page indexes registered economists that are also on Mastodon and is updated daily. Economists are also listed by field, country, institution type, and gender. Being registered here also allows them to get their identity verified on Mastodon (see instructions).

How to get listed

Pre-condition

  1. Be registered with the RePEc Author Service.
  2. Have the main affiliation in United States

How to be listed

Method 1:
  1. Click here.
  2. Log in with your RePEc Short-ID through the RePEc Author Service.
  3. Enter your Mastodon handle.
Method 2:
  1. Look for the monthly email update from RePEc.
  2. Click on the link for the ranking analysis.
  3. Click on the link for Mastodon registration.
  4. Enter your Mastodon handle.
Method 3:
  1. Add your Mastodon handle in your profile on the RePEc Author Service (on the "Contacts" page).
  2. You are then listed here after the daily refresh. Your Mastodon account will then also be listed on your IDEAS profile. Then, and only then, you can add your IDEAS profile to your Mastodon metadata and it will be verified by Mastodon (and only at the time you add it).

    How the procedure could fail

    • You registered with the RePEc Author Service too recently for having a profile on IDEAS.
    • Your monthly email is in the spam mailbox or did not reach you (email address still correct?)
