Handlungsoptionen für eine Erhöhung der Einkommensgerechtigkeit und Chancengleichheit für Frauen in Oberösterreich

Abstract

Im Durchschnitt sind die wichtigsten Arbeitsmarktindikatoren für Oberösterreich sehr günstig; das gilt aber nicht gleichermaßen für Frauen und Männer, wie die Kennzahlen zur Erwerbsbeteiligung, Beschäftigung und Entlohnung zeigen. Die große geschlechtsspezifische Einkommenslücke geht auch auf die Wirtschafts- und Beschäftigungsstruktur zurück. Aufgrund der hohen Industriekonzentration ergibt sich eine überdurchschnittliche geschlechtsspezifische Segmentierung der Beschäftigung nach Branchen und Betriebsgrößen. Die unterschiedlichen Beschäftigungs- und Einkommenschancen der Männer und Frauen resultieren aber auch aus einem größeren gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhang. Die Gleichstellung der Frauen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt kann deshalb nicht vom Arbeitsmarkt allein gelöst werden, sondern bedarf politischer Weichenstellungen auf vielen Ebenen und in vielen Bereichen, nicht zuletzt der Regionalpolitik.
