Ecset vagy egér. Mesterségbeli tudás és magas szintű technika
[Brush or mouse. Occupational capabilities and high technology]

Abstract

A magas szintű technika az uralkodó vélemények szerint felértékeli a munkaerő iránti igényeket, magasabb szakértelmet követel meg. Erre abból következtetnek, hogy a technikai fejlődéssel párhuzamosan nő a nem termelők és a magasabb iskolai végzettséggel rendelkezők iránti igény. Mások szerint a foglalkozási szerkezet és a bérviszonyok változásai nem, vagy csak részben tudhatók be a technikai fejlődésnek. Fontos szerepet játszhat emellett a munkapiaci intézményekben, a munkaügyi politikában, az uralkodó vezetési stratégiákban és az elfogadott társadalmi normákban bekövetkező változás is. A vizsgálatok általában megkerülik azt a kérdést, hogy a foglalkozás vagy a végzettség mennyire jól fejezi ki a mesterségbeli tudást. Eltekintenek attól, hogy itt az emberi kvalitások és az elvégzendő feladat viszonyáról van szó. A különböző feladatok által felállított követelmények pedig sokkal bonyolultabbak annál, hogy a képzettséggel és/vagy a foglalkozással egyértelműen leírhatók lennének. A technika változása egyébként a foglalkozások többségénél csak a felületet karcolja. A festőművésznek, aki számítógéppel komponálja meg műveit, a jó kép elkészítéséhez ugyanazon képességekkel kell rendelkeznie, mint az ecsettel dolgozónak, csak neki nem az ecsettechnikát, hanem az egér kezelését kell elsajátítania.
