Avec le projet du Grand Paris, l'extension des infrastructures franciliennes de transports collectifs va impliquer une nouvelle donne pour les temps de déplacements des nombreux franciliens qui en deviendront les usagers. Ce faisant, elle est susceptible d'exercer des effets positifs importants sur le marché de l'emploi, à la fois sur la demande et sur l'offre de travail, en rapprochant les travailleurs des emplois. Dans cet article nous nous intéressons à ces effets sur l'offre de travail qui ne sont ne sont pas uniformes sur l'ensemble de l'espace francilien dans la mesure où ils dépendent du tracé du trajet du Grand Paris, de la localisation des emplois et de celle des lieux de résidence des personnes en emploi et au chômage. Partant d'une analyse statistique et spatialisée du chômage francilien, nous montrons que le tracé finalement retenu pour le Grand Paris ne paraît pas en adéquation avec la géographie des problèmes d'accès à l'emploi en Ile-de-France.
