Abstract

Se emplean modelos VAR para estudiar las relaciones tanto positivas como negativas del crecimiento del producto y el empleo en Colombia, haciendo la diferencia con Estados Unidos. Los resultados obtenidos en la investigación para Colombia encuentran la correlación entre la producción el empleo como fuerzas motoras del ciclo económico.||*Este capítulo se encuentra incluido en la tercera parte del libro El mercado de trabajo en Colombia : hechos, tendencias e instituciones, titulada "El mercado de trabajo en el corto plazo"
