Disabilit?: diseguaglianza sociale ed economica. Un?analisi empirica e teorica

Abstract

La disabilit? in Italia ? purtroppo fonte di diseguaglianza sociale ed economica. La famiglia ? il soggetto che attualmente risulta essere maggiormente coinvolto nella cura della persona disabile. Partendo da tali premesse, questo lavoro dapprima fornisce un?analisi descrittiva e quantitativa della situazione socio-economica che le famiglie con persona disabile a carico vivono. In secondo luogo, il lavoro analizza l?efficacia di un aumento delle pensioni di invalidit? civile, quale strumento di policy atto a superare l?attuale discriminazione sociale e ad adeguare l?Italia agli standard Europei. A tal fine l?analisi simula un modello teorico del ciclo reale. I risultati suggeriscono che un aumento delle pensioni di invalidit? civile ridistribuisce ricchezza riducendo la diseguaglianza sociale ed economica tra famiglie con e senza persona con disabile a carico.
