Abstract

Das Rohstoffmonitoring nimmt zum einen eine Bestandsaufnahme hinsichtlich der derzeitigen Gewinnung von Kies und Sand bzw. Quarzkies und -sand in NRW sowie des Aufkommens von Recyclingbaustoffen vor. Zum anderen werden unter Berücksichtigung des zu erwartenden Aufkommens an Recyclingbaustoffen und der Entwicklung der Rohstoffproduktivität die künftig noch erforderliche Primärgewinnung von Kies und Sand bzw. Quarzkies und -sand für verschiedene Szenarien hinsichtlich der gesamtwirtschaftlichen und wirtschaftsstrukturellen Entwicklung projiziert sowie Handlungsempfehlungen unterbreitet.
