Umsetzung der Wasserrahmenrichtlinie in Österreich. Aktualisierung der ökonomischen Analyse der Wassernutzung

Abstract

Aufbauend auf den Studien aus den Jahren 2004 und 2014 untersucht die vorliegende Arbeit die ökonomische Bedeutung der Wassernutzung (gemäß Art. 5 und Anhang III WRRL) in Österreich, und zwar für die Sektoren Landwirtschaft, Fischerei, Industrie, Elektrizitätserzeugung aus Wasserkraft, Wasserversorgung und Abwasserentsorgung, Hochwasserschutz sowie Schifffahrt. Zusätzlich zur Aktualisierung der Ergebnisse der vorhergehenden Studien werden im vorliegenden Bericht neue Aspekte aufgegriffen. Dies betrifft in erster Linie die Bereiche Wasserverbrauch im Wintertourismus (Beschneiungsanlagen) und Gefährdung durch Altlasten.
