Eine Auswahl von Nachhaltigkeitsindikatoren für die österreichische Land- und Forstwirtschaft im internationalen Vergleich

Abstract

Die in diesem Bericht vorgelegten Indikatoren zur Landwirtschaft in Österreich und in Vergleichsländern werden in der internationalen Literatur im Zusammenhang mit nachhaltiger Entwicklung diskutiert. Die Auswahl der Indikatoren erfolgte in einem interaktiven Stakeholderdialog. In die engere Wahl kamen vor allem Kennzahlen, die sowohl im landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb erhoben werden können als auch international vergleichbar sind. Dies schränkt die Auswahl ein, und wichtige Aspekte einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung können damit nicht erfasst werden. Gleichwohl können die Indikatoren die Diskussion zu diesem Thema bereichern und eine Grundlage für weitere Arbeiten bilden.
