Abstract

Kon Tum provincial government has released long-term development plans aimed at transforming primary crops into specialized cultivation zones. However, the justification behind establishing these figures as future goals for the province remains unaddressed. It is imperative that policy implementation steers clear of unrealistic objectives that could potentially clash with other development priorities, induce changes in land use, and neglect the crucial interplay between production expansion and environmental as well as social factors. Despite its significance, the evaluation of agricultural development aligned with sustainable plans often goes overlooked.
