Abstract

This paper is based on a view of hospital as a complex service provider and as a nexus of network in order to analyse the issue of innovation in hospital. It propounds a relatively simple framework of analysis of the hospital output, which embodies the medical function in a complex system of elementary services based upon different types of technologies. This framework is used in order to display the diversity of innovation deposits and the main innovation logics among hospitals.
