Cet article introduit un modèle d'équilibre calculable, dynamique, à anticipations parfaites, de l'économie française du type WS-PS. Le modèle, au lieu d'être étalonné de façon à reproduire une année moyenne, l'est de manière à reproduire l'évolution de l'économie française sur la période 1974-1993. Ceci ne peut être fait que si nous introduisons un certain nombre de variables latentes ayant un sens économique. Les multiplicateurs dynamiques des principales mesures de politique économique sont alors calculés, ainsi que les effets sur l'emploi des altérations de ces politiques depuis 1974.
