Preistransmission Für Konsummilch Und Butter In Den Verschiedenen Distributionskanälen Des Lebensmiteleinzelhandels

Abstract

In diesem Beitrag werden für Konsummilch und Butter die Preistransmissionsbeziehungen zwischen den Molkereien und dem Lebensmitteleinzelhandel im Zeitraum 1995 bis 2008 in Deutschland untersucht. Der Beitrag zu Literatur besteht in der differenzierten Betrachtung der verschiedenen Distributionskanäle des Lebensmitteleinzelhandels. Es wird untersucht, ob Unterschiede in der Preisanpassung zwischen Verbrauchermärkten, Supermärkten und Discountern vorliegen. Die Anwendung eines Fehlerkorrekturmodellansatzes führt zu dem Ergebnis, dass der Lebensmitteleinzelhandel bei Konsummilch eine für ihn positive Entwicklung der Marge deutlich stärker an den Verbraucher weitergibt als im umgekehrten Fall. Unterschiede sind insbesondere zwischen Discountern und Supermärkten zu beobachten. Bei Butter hingegen existieren keine Unterschiede in der Preisanpassung zwischen den Distributionskanälen. Allerdings sind bei Butter Asymmetrien sowohl im kurzfristigen, als auch im langfristigen Preisanpassungsprozess deutlich ausgeprägter.
