Fehlzeitenreport 2017. Krankheits- und unfallbedingte Fehlzeiten in Österreich – Die alter(n)sgerechte Arbeitswelt

Abstract

Der Fehlzeitenreport gibt eine Übersicht über Entwicklung und Verteilung der gesundheitsbedingten Fehlzeiten in Österreich. 2016 verringerte sich die Krankenstandsquote gegenüber dem Vorjahr leicht, die Beschäftigten verbrachten durchschnittlich 12,5 Kalendertage im Krankenstand, das entspricht einem Verlust an Jahresarbeitszeit von 3,4%. Der aktuelle Bericht behandelt in einem Schwerpunktkapitel das Thema "Die alter(n)sgerechte Arbeitswelt". Die über 50-Jährigen verbringen zwar aufgrund von längeren Krankenstandsfällen im Durchschnitt mehr Zeit im Krankenstand als Jüngere, der Anteil der Personen, die im Jahresverlauf erkranken, ist aber in allen Altersgruppen etwa gleich groß. In Bezug auf Leistungsfähigkeit und Produktivität zeigt sich ein sehr differenziertes Bild, wonach mit zunehmendem Alter Veränderungen, aber keineswegs nur Verschlechterungen eintreten. Die Erwerbsbeteiligung Älterer ist, wie die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung zeigen, in weiten Teilen durch den Einsatz von alters- und alternsgerechten Maßnahmen gestaltbar.
