Die volkswirtschaftlichen Auswirkungen der Zuwanderung von Arbeitskräften. Ein Literaturüberblick

Abstract

Die Zuwanderung von Arbeitskräften könnte den Wohlstand für die ansässige Bevölkerung geringfügig vergrößern, hat aber vor allem Verteilungswirkungen: Einkommen wird von geringerqualifizierten Arbeitskräften zu Kapitaleignern und zu hochqualifizierten Arbeitskräften umverteilt. Wenn die Löhne nach unten hin starr sind, ist auch mit einer Erhöhung der Arbeitslosigkeit zu rechnen. Neben den Auswirkungen auf den Arbeitsmarkt beschäftigt sich die Literatur, die der vorliegende Beitrag zusammenfasst, mit der Frage der sozialen Kosten von Zuwanderung.
