Assessing the impact of hydro energy project on poverty alleviation: The case of Bui Dam in Ghana

Abstract

The study sought to determine the impact of Bui dam on poverty alleviation of affected persons in the Bui community. This included the identification of services and developments provided by Bui hydro plant management to the community, and the characterization of the Bui community to ascertain the areas for poverty alleviation.
