The euro area Beveridge curve in the post-crisis period: increase in structural unemployment since 2010

Abstract

Since 2010, the Beveridge curve in the euro area, and in France in particular, has pointed to simultaneous increases in both unemployment and job vacancies, indicating that structural unemployment is on the rise.
