Die Bewertung Strategischer Allianzen mit dem Realoptionsansatz

Abstract

Der Facettenreichtum des unternehmerischen Kooperationsgeschehens zeigt sich auch in den zugrunde liegenden Motiven. Die grundlegenden Absichten, durch Kooperationen Größenvorteile in der Produktion zu er-reichen sowie der Vielfalt in den nachfrageseitig gewünschten Problemlösungen nach zu kommen werden additive und komplementäre Kooperationen gerecht. Doch nicht nur der Wunsch nach Größe und Vielfalt legen Kooperationsstrategien nahe. Risiken zu reduzieren, Innovationen zu fördern und die Flexibilität zu erhöhen sind typische Gründe, um in Kooperationen einzutreten. Im Rahmen des vorliegenden IfG-Arbeitspapieres von Christian Strothmann wird vor allem darauf abgestellt, dass Kooperationen, hier konkret Strategische Allianzen, die Flexibilität von Unternehmen erhöhen, diesen zusätzliche Optionen für ihre zukünftigen Aktivitäten ermöglichen. Vor diesem Hintergrund geht es darum, den Wert dieser Optionen zu operationalisieren und sogar zu quantifizieren. Es liegt nahe, den Ansatz zur Bewertung von Finanzoptionen auf eine solche von Realoptionen zu übertragen und zu prüfen, inwieweit mit Allianzen Realoptionen verbunden sind. Es wird ein erster Versuch präsentiert, eine realoptionsbasierte Bewertung von Allianzen vorzunehmen. Dabei werden die ein-zelnen Schritte und Aufgaben isoliert, aber auch die Grenzen eines solchen Vorgehens aufgezeigt. Dieses Arbeitspapier setzt die IfG-Forschungsaktivitäten zur Bewertung von Kooperationsaktivitäten sowie zur Erfolgsmessung von Netzwerten fort. Die Arbeit stammt aus dem IfG-Forschungscluster II: Kooperationsmanagement.
