Der Konvergenzprozess auf den Kommunikationsmärkten: Eine Klassifikation wesentlicher Triebkräfte unter besonderer Berücksichtigung bestehender Interdependenzen

Abstract

Die Konvergenz auf den Kommunikationsmärkten ist keine Zukunftsvision, sondern vielmehr ein Prozess, der sich gegenwärtig vollzieht. Dies zieht Konsequenzen für die Businessmodelle der auf diesen Märkten tätigen Unternehmen nach sich und stellt darüber hinaus den gegenwärtigen Regulierungsrahmen in Frage. Die vorliegende Arbeit soll zum Verständnis des Konvergenzprozesses beitragen, indem die wesentlichen Triebkräfte des Prozesses ermittelt und analysiert werden. Hierzu wird ein Klassifikationsschema aufgestellt, welches zwischen (1) technologieinduzierten, (2) politikinduzierten, (3) nachfrageseitigen und (4) angebotsseitigen Triebkräften unterscheidet. Ein Schwerpunkt der Arbeit liegt darauf, die Interdependenzen zwischen den einzelnen Triebkräften aufzuzeigen.
