Abstract

Das vorliegende Working Paper "Qualitätsoffensive strukturierte Weiterbildung in Deutschland" ist ein Positionspapier der Arbeitsgruppe "Qualifizierung" des Arbeitskreises Arbeitsmarktpolitik der Hans-Böckler-Stiftung. Das Papier ergreift auf Basis der Analyse der gegenwärtigen Situation der berufsbezogenen Weiterbildung Position für einen Kurswechsel in der Weiterbildungspolitik, insbesondere in der Förderung berufsbezogener Weiterbildung. Weiterbildung ist heute mehr denn je der Schlüssel für Fortschritt, Wachstum und Innovationen, aber auch für individuelle berufliche Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten und somit eine notwendige Zukunftsinvestition. Weiterbildung muss wieder stärker als öffentliche, staatliche Aufgabe verstanden werden, die im Rahmen einer vorsorgenden, investiven Sozialpolitik angelegt ist.
