Abstract

Las razones de la intervención pública destinada a promocionar la participación femenina en el mercado de trabajo, a eliminar actitudes discriminatorias o a cambiar las percepciones sociales relativas al papel de cada sexo deben ser examinadas de acuerdo con los criterios de eficiencia y equidad. En este trabajo se funden los análisis realizados por la literatura teórica y la aplicada para, a la luz de estos estudios, ofrecer una discusión sobre el II Plan de Igualdad de Oportunidades para las Mujeres del Ministerio de Asuntos Sociales español.
