Abstract

En este documento, se realiza una caracterización del mercado de deuda corporativa colombiano, entendido como el mercado de bonos. En primer lugar, se realiza una comparación del tamaño de este mercado frente a otros países de la región y frente al mercado de deuda pública local, encontrando un rezago importante en los dos frentes. Posteriormente, se analiza tanto la oferta como la demanda, en los mercados primario y secundario de este tipo de instrumentos, y se presenta su evolución, la cual ha estado estrechamente relacionada con los cambios en el marco legal de este mercado.
