Land supply and Ricardian rent

Abstract

This paper investigates opportunities to improve the land market in GTAP. Different theoretical foundations for land supply, land substitution and land intensification are investigated and related with the current approaches for land use modeling in the LEI-version of GTAP, LEITAP.
