Abstract

Diese Teilstudie analysiert den Zusammenhang zwischen Technologie und Wirtschaftsentwicklung. Dabei werden die Bedeutung der Wirtschaftsstruktur und des Strukturwandels für die Forschungsperformance der österreichischen Wirtschaft, die Wirkungen des Förderwesens und die Rolle des Humankapitals untersucht. Darauf aufbauend werden Vorschläge für die Forschungs-, Technologie- und Innovationspolitik entwickelt.
