    The article consists of three sections, the first of which is a review of studies and analysis of the problems of diffusion of innovations, tools used in the economy of innovation. The second section is devoted to the problems of diffusion of innovations in the concept of Kelvin Lancaster in which innovations are considered primarily as a change of quality (attributes) of goods. The last section is offered, and by the methods of simulation analysis investigated the original model of control of diffusion processes.
