Factores Determinantes de las Exportaciones de Servicios de Telecomunicaciones, Informática y de Información para Países de la OCDE, 2006-2014

Abstract

El crecimiento de las exportaciones de servicios, particularmente de los servicios de telecomunicaciones, informática y de información es una de las principales tendencias observadas en los últimos años. Las exportaciones de servicios son elementales para el desempeño de las economías al ser un conductor estratégico para la competitividad de los países. Por lo que se busca identificar los principales determinantes del crecimiento de las exportaciones de servicios de telecomunicaciones, informática y de información para una muestra de países de la OCDE, compuesta por Austria, Australia, República Checa, Hungría, México, Portugal, Reino Unido y Estados Unidos, durante el periodo 2006-2014, a través de un modelo econométrico de datos panel. Los hallazgos muestran que el PIB, el acceso a las TIC’s, un mejor nivel de instituciones y las inversiones, fueron los principales factores que explicaron el crecimiento de las exportaciones del sector.
