Abstract

The results of the monthly ifo Business Survey can be presented in different ways. In addition to standard tables and line charts, the ifo Business Cycle Clock is also a central component of the regular press releases. In addition, the ifo Heatmap is a new analysis tool. With the help of a color scale, it depicts economic development in all the sectors of the economy covered by the ifo Business Survey.
