Reform proposals for the Eurozone – Is Joint European Unemployment Insurance the Answer?

Abstract

In the December survey of the ifo and FAZ economists' panel, professors of economics at German universities were asked for their opinions on various reform proposals for the Eurozone, and particularly on the creation of a joint European unemployment insurance system. The majority of respondents are not satisfied with the reforms.
