Die Veränderung der Bildungsmobilität in Ost- und Westdeutschland nach der Wiedervereinigung

Abstract

Die Wiedervereinigung von Ost- und Westdeutschland brachte für Ostdeutschland im Bildungssektor große Veränderungen. Die Schulstrukturen aus DDR-Zeiten wurden an das westdeutsche System an - gepasst. Zusammen mit der politischen Liberalisierung kann erwartet werden, dass sich die Karriere - chancen allgemein als auch in der Bildung erhöhen. Die Frage ist, ob sich die Weitergabe der Schulbildung von Eltern auf Kinder (Bildungsmobilität) durch den Austausch des Bildungssystems in Ostdeutschland verändert – und an Westdeutschland angepasst – hat. Der Ausgangszustand im Jahr 1991 zeigt die Bil dungs - mobilität in Ost- und Westdeutschland vor der Wiedervereinigung. Die anschließend aufgezeigte Veränderung in der Bildungsmobilität stellt die Anpassung der Ostdeutschen an das neue Bildungssystem dar. Es zeigt sich, dass sich die Bildungsmobilitätsraten nur langsam an das westdeutsche System annähern.
