Technical efficiency and animal waste reduction in pig farming

Abstract

L'efficience d'une mesure telle que la taxation des engrais cherchant à réduire l'excès d'azote des bilans de fertilisation est conditionnée par le niveau d'efficacité des agriculteurs. La recherche d'un coût de production minimal va conduire les producteurs à utiliser les possibilités d'ajustement latentes sur l'exploitation, qui se trouvent valorisées par l'introduction de la taxation. Cette contribution présente une méthodologie dite non paramétrique de la mesure de l'efficacité ainsi que des possibilités d'application prenant en compte l'environnement interne et externe des élevages.
