Abstract

Kriegerische und kriegsähnliche gewaltsame Auseinandersetzungen haben eine Vielzahl von Folgen, von denen die physischen Verheerungen lediglich einen Teilbereich darstellen. Unter anderem rücken die Auswirkungen auf Verhalten und Psyche mehr und mehr in den Fokus wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Forschung. Diese Auswirkungen beinträchtigen nicht nur Individuen, sondern sind auch aus gesellschaftlicher Sicht oft schädlicher Natur. Beispielsweise trifft dies auf die Erhöhung der Inzidenz von häuslicher Gewalt zu, die auf mutmaßlich mehrere Wirkungskanäle zurückzuführen ist.
