Quelle gouvernance partenariale dans les banques coopératives françaises ? Marché, réseau et proximité

Abstract

Nous cherchons à caractériser le modèle de gouvernance des banques coopératives françaises à travers une approche large de la gouvernance qui englobe les modes de fonctionnement de la firme en interne et en externe. Nous montrons tout d’abord comment le statut oriente les banques coopératives vers une gouvernance partenariale (1.). Puis nous mettons en évidence que les changements des vingt dernières années s’accompagnent d’une extension des logiques externes de marché, conduisant à l’émergence d’un modèle de gouvernance hybride (2.), fortement marqué par des logiques de réseau (3.).
