Methoden und Daten zur Erforschung spezieller Organisationen: Multinationale Unternehmen

Abstract

Im Fokus des Artikels stehen drei zentrale methodologische Problemstellungen der Forschung über multinationale Unternehmen: erstens die Auswahl des Untersuchungsfeldes und Fragen des Feldzugangs bei der Forschung, zweitens die Sicherung der Äquivalenz der eigenen Begriffe und Indikatoren in einem multinationalen und multikulturellen Forschungskontext sowie drittens die Bildung von und Kooperation in multinationalen Forschungsteams. Der Artikel stellt kurz die Grundzüge der Forschungsliteratur über multinationale Unternehmen dar und diskutiert dann die relevante methodologische Literatur aus der Organisations- und Arbeitssoziologie, Betriebswirtschaft und Wirtschaftsgeographie.
