Abstract

[fre] Réussites et échecs dans des filières universitaires. Un essai d'analyse. . L'article présente une méthode d'analyse qui a pour but d'expliquer la pour­suite de la sélection par l'échec jusqu'à la fin des cursus universitaires. Cette analyse permet de combiner les variables individuelles habituellement utilisées pour expliquer les réussites ou les échecs et les caractéristiques organisationnelles des filières. L'analyse économique porte sur plusieurs cohortes d'étudiants de l'Université des Sciences sociales de Toulouse que l'on peut suivre tout au long de leurs études. Les résultats s'accordent avec les prédictions de la théorie. [eng] An attempt to analyse successes and failures in higher education programms. . This article presents a methodology the purpose of which is to explain the evolution of the individual selection process based on failures during the study programs. This analysis permit to combine individual variables that are usually used to explain successes or failures and structural characteristics of the higher education programs. The econometric analysis is based on panel data obtained from the University of Social Sciences of Toulouse. Empirical results confirm the theorical predictions.
