Abstract

"Im Jahr 2006 wurde die maximale Bezugsdauer des Arbeitslosengeldes für Ältere deutlich verkürzt. Empirische Analysen zeigen für die Gruppe der Männer: Die Reform hat dazu geführt, dass vor allem Arbeitslose, die zuvor außerhalb des Niedriglohnbereichs tätig waren, schneller eine neue Beschäftigung aufgenommen haben. Häufiger als vor der Reform war diese neue Tätigkeit dabei im Niedriglohnbereich angesiedelt." (Textauszug, IAB-Doku)
