Abstract

Every year, soil water erosion on cropland in the Southwest of France is the source of numerous damages on public areas such as roads. In this context, we propose technical solutions for preventing water erosion with public damage. Then an economic evaluation using an original model is done to compare costs and monetary gains of the technical practice proposed to the farmer and to public administration that subsidies soil conservation pratice.
