Das Erwerbsverhalten von Eltern mit Migrationshintergrund: SOEP-basierte Befunde und deren Implikationen für Hamburg. Kurzfassung

Abstract

34 Prozent aller Hamburgerinnen und Hamburger haben einen Migrationshintergrund. Die Erwerbsbeteiligung unter Migrant/innen ist meist niedriger als bei Menschen ohne Migrationshintergrund, dies gilt auch für Eltern und insbesondere für Mütter. Dadurch liegen dringend benötigte Arbeits- und Fachkräftepotenziale brach.
