Was denken (zukünftige) ÖkonomInnen? Einblicke in die politische und gesellschaftliche Wirkmächtigkeit ökonomischen Denkens

Abstract

ÖkonomInnen üben über eine Vielzahl von Wirkungskanälen einen großen Einfluss auf gesellschaftliche Prozesse aus. Dazu gehören wirtschafts- und sozialpolitische Beratungsprozesse ebenso wie eine allgemeine mediale Aufmerksamkeit sowie der Einfluss auf eine Vielzahl von Studierenden. Vor diesem Hintergrund fragt der vorliegende Artikel einerseits danach, was (zukünftige) ÖkonomInnen heute denken. Andererseits beleuchtet er den pädagogischen Sozialisationsprozess, in dessen Rahmen ökonomisches Wissen heute weitergegeben und geprägt wird. Es zeigt sich, dass ökonomische Bildung ein in hohem Maße standardisiertes Wissen weitergibt, dessen Dominanz über persuasive Unterrichts- und didaktische Techniken zusätzlich - und zumeist in unkritischer Weise - gefestigt wird.
