Abstract

There is a seeming consensus among researchers that women are denied several opportunities in organizations, either in the recruitment process or in promotion, thus making a case for discrimination against women in the workplace. It is against this backdrop that this study sought to examine the relationship existing between gender diversity and employee engagement in the cable manufacturing companies in Anambra State. Survey Research Design was adopted for the study. The population of the study was 151, due to the manageable size of the population, complete enumeration was adopted. Data were analyzed using Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficient , and the hypothesis was tested at 5% level of significance. The result revealed that the relationship between the variables is high (.965) and that it is statistically significant at 5% level of significance (p-value
