KfW-Energiewendebarometer 2026: Handlungsbereitschaft der Haushalte nimmt deutlich zu

Abstract

Die Energiewende erhält wieder Rückenwind: Vor allem die Bereitschaft der Haushalte, selbst aktiv zu werden, ist deutlich gestiegen – von 59 % im Vorjahr auf nun 66 %. Auch der Technologie­hochlauf kommt voran: Rund 14 Mio. Haushalte bzw. 34 % nutzen mindestens eine Energiewende­technologie. Damit sind innerhalb eines Jahres 1,1 Mio. Haushalte neu hinzugekommen. Besonders dynamisch entwickeln sich Aufdach-Photovoltaik und Elektroautos. Inzwischen haben 53 % der Haushalte Zugang zu grünem Strom – im Vorjahr waren es 47 %. Wie stark Haushalte an der Transformation teilhaben, hängt insbesondere von Einkommen und Wohnsituation ab: Im obersten Einkommens­quartil nutzen 51 %, im untersten 20 % mindestens eine Energiewende­technologie; in selbstbewohnten Ein- und Zweifamilienhäusern sind es 59 %, in Mietwohnungen 15 %. Damit die Transformation alle Haushalte erreicht, bleiben Wirtschaftlichkeit, gezielte Investitions­förderung und passende Informations­angebote entscheidend.
