Abstract

In diesem Impuls diskutieren Lara Berger, Anna Kerkhof, Felix Mindl und Johannes Münster die Effektivität von Interventionen gegen Fake News. Nach einer kurzen Erläuterung des historischen Hintergrundes von Falschnachrichten vergleichen sie – basierend auf einem breit angelegten randomisierten Online-Experiment – die Wirksamkeit von Medienkompetenztrainings mit der von Fact-Checks. Außerdem kommentieren Michael Krause und Steffen Roth kurz die aktuelle Situation derjenigen Mitbürgerinnen und Mitbürger, bei denen die Energiepreissteigerungen wirklich existenzgefährdend wirken.
