Abstract

Die vorliegende Studie untersucht das Exportverhalten von Unternehmen aus den Ländern der CENTROPE-Region (Österreich, Slowakei, Tschechien und Ungarn) anhand von Unternehmensdaten. Der Schwerpunkt der Datenerhebung und Analyse liegt auf den Städten Wien und Bratislava sowie der Region Trnava. Immigration aus einem bestimmten Land begünstigt demnach die Exporte auf eben diesen Zielmarkt. Die Exportaktivitäten der Unternehmen einer Region beeinflussen zudem die Exportwahrscheinlichkeit anderer Betriebe dieser Region positiv.
