Abstract

En este libro se aborda la evaluación de la existencia de un gradiente social en la condición psicofísica de la población argentina, en sus hábitos y en el patrón de uso de las prestaciones asistenciales, enfatizando en este último caso su relación con las caracteríticas del sistema de atención médica del país. El trabajo concluye con un conjunto de reflexiones sobre diversos aspectos de las políticas públicas en salud que se consideran relevantes para cumplir en forma más acabada con el objetivo de equidad que la sociedad promueve.
