Örgütsel Sessizliğin İşten Ayrılma Niyeti Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

Örgütsel sessizliğin çalışanlar üzerindeki olumsuz sonuçlarından biri de işten ayrılma niyetlerini etkilemesidir. Bu durum, işten ayrılma niyetine neden olan öncülün araştırılmasını önemli kılmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, örgütsel sessizliğin çalışanların işten ayrılma niyetlerine etkisinin araştırılması olup, bu etkinin nasıl modellenebileceğini amaç edinir. Literatürde, örgütsel sessizlik ile işten ayrılma niyeti ilişkisine yönelik sınırlı sayıda çalışma olmasından yola çıkılarak, yapılan bu çalışma ile literatüre bu yönde katkı sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. İlişkisel tarama yöntemi ile yapılan araştırmanın örneklemi İstanbul ili Büyükçekmece ilçesinde faaliyetlerine devam eden bir plastik işletmesinde çalışan 107 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda örgütsel sessizlik ile işten ayrılma niyeti arasında yüksek düzeyde anlamlı korelasyon bulunmuştur. Örgütsel sessizliğin işten ayrılma niyetini yordaması anlamlı bulunmuştur. İşten ayrılma niyeti ve örgütsel sessizliğin demografik farklılaşmaları anlamlı bulunmamıştır.
